  1. Preheat oven to 220C/200C fan-forced. Place wedges on a baking paper lined baking tray. Drizzle with oil and toss to coat. Spread wedges out so that they are in a single layer. Sprinkle with cayenne pepper (if you are using). Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Bake for 35 minutes or until golden and tender. Serve.
Recipe Notes

Try sprinkling wedges with finely chopped rosemary and thyme before baking for a simple herby twist. Chilli flakes and a spicy kick or cumin and chopped fresh coriander for a simple middle eastern feel.
